Sunday 2nd July sees two of the city’s finest club crews join forces for a good cause, with a huge lineup of live and DJ talent getting involved.

Mantra Warehouse is hosting the joint Meat Free and High Hoops party, which will see Space Dimension Controller, Cleric, Legowelt, DJ October, John Heckle, Jon K, and Stephanie Sykes playing tunes of a house, techno, and electro leaning. Which basically means you’d do well to get involved. Tickets are being sold on a donation basis, so you can pay between £12 and £20 depending on how you’re fixed bank balance-wise, and all proceeds will go to help the victims of May’s Manchester Arena bombing.

If you spend much time out in our hometown after dark then chances are you will have attended a session by either one of these crews, or both, at venues ranging from Hidden to The White Hotel, Roadhouse (RIP) to Band On The Wall. Collectively, their guests have included DJ Bone, Ben Sims, Bas Mooy, Objekt, Mike Servito, Omar S, Mood II Swing, and Hunee, giving an idea as to how on-point they are. Mean while the residents themselves aren’t too shoddy when it comes to track selections either. In short, see you down the front then… doors are 12PM – 11PM.
