As an official Community Live site for The 2012 Games, Spinningfields has now confirmed the sporting line-up to be screened in Hardman Square.

As an official Community Live site for The 2012 Games, Spinningfields has now confirmed the sporting line-up to be screened in Hardman Square. Starting with the Opening Ceremony on Friday, July 27th, and running for the duration of the event, screenings include Athletics, Volleyball, Rowing and Cycling to name but a few.

All the events on the big screen are un-ticketed and free to attend and for those who for those who don’t just like to sit back and watch, there will be opportunities to get involved, with table tennis tables, badminton and volleyball all taking place next to the big screen.

While settling down to watch the action, sports fans can kick back on a deckchair or snuggle up on a blanket on green while sipping on a drink from the Mojito Bar or pop-up bar, The Yacht Club. Picnics and a mouth-watering selection of BBQ food from Southern 11’s Meat Shack BBQ will also be available.

Spinningfields offers an array of quality eateries and bars including The Alchemist, Southern 11, The Oast House, Giraffe, Nando’s, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Carluccio’s, Strada, Wagamama and Australasia.
