Mancunian Designer Makers Showcased

The duo behind The Independent Interiors Show, a new event taking place in Manchester on September 28th have launched a short film to showcase the work of the North West designers who will be exhibiting at the event.

The duo behind The Independent Interiors Show, a new event taking place in Manchester on September 28th have launched a short film to showcase the work of the North West designers who will be exhibiting at the event.

The film is a behind the scenes tour of the workshops of some of Manchester’s most diverse designer makers, including God is a Manc mosaic creator Amanda McCrann, May Wild Ceramics who are famous for their “Bird of Clay and Golden remains” ceramic birds and Carla Muncaster of Inspirit who is passionate about salvaged and industrial furniture and lighting. Local interiors expert Sian Astley who is a passionate supporter of independent design is also featured.

Some of the North West’s most talented designers have signed up to exhibit at the show including Annabel Perrin, Northern Letters and Hannah Nunn.

The Independent Interiors Show is a one day shopping showcase with over 20 independent homeware designers from the North of England taking part. On the day, visitors will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase one-off products ranging from lighting to ceramics, textiles, furniture and screen prints as well meeting the designers and gaining a first-hand insight into their work. Some of the North West’s most talented designers have signed up to exhibit at the show including Annabel Perrin, Northern Letters and Hannah Nunn. A series of exciting, interactive demos will also take place on the day from Sian Astley, Aunty Mabel’s Seat and May Wild Ceramics.

The film was shot by Argentinian photographer Seb Kurtis of Stella Photography who is renowned for his contemporary work which is exhibited worldwide and in various publications. He has recently completed a film for Cheshire born Heavyweight, Tyson Fury to promote his upcoming fight in Manchester, against David Haye.
