Another sell out gig at the Albert Hall Manchester. One of the most exciting bands to emerge from Britain in 2013, Jungle. They played at this year’s BBC 6 music festival just days before hitting Manchester. Jungle a collective of musicians centred on Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland, only known as J and T, who have been friends since they were nine, and were neighbours growing up in west London. Jungle have now expanded to a seven-piece band.

Opening up their set with standout track “Plantoon” which instantly has everyone (including the seated upper tier) on their feet dancing.

Fourth track in “Heat” a catchy, light funk number which has the whole crowd singing along. The group’s sense of simple, dance-focused visuals that have attained a certain level of buzz in Albert hall tonight.

The groups encore track, extended version of “Time” Jungle is pure party straight through, even the security team are enjoying a little boogie.

Their catchy electro-funk singles leaves a lasting impression. Drumming up waves of excitement, Jungle are scheduled for a full summer of touring and festivals, i recommend you go and check them out!
