Stockport lads No Hot Ashes return to Manchester Academy

Presumably getting their name off the side of a manky old wheely bin, No Hot Ashes are heading back to Manchester Academy in March, this time playing at Academy 2.

A four-piece from Stockport, No Hot Ashes have been branded as Post Pop / Disco Funk pioneers, with a sound that is heavy bass infused Chilli Peppers meets James Brown with a rap / hip hop overlay.

The combination is as infectious as it is fresh and in an era of the usual local guitar bands of varying qualities they are band you have to see live as their performances ooze raw funk rhythms and a passion for entertaining crowds.

Fresh off the back of their sold out show in Manchester Club Academy, the band will return to play Academy 2 on 31st March. Tickets are on sale now.
