Now this is good news. No, actually – this is MASSIVE news!
This Monday 7th May sees the always excellent Black Dog, Northern Quarter staple for years now, swing open their doors once again – free from all of the outdoor only rules that have dominated this ‘roadmap’ out of lockdown.
They can FINALLY allow people to eat and drink inside again, and they’ve got a big surprise for us all – the team from the Arndale Market’s most-beloved stalls are taking over the kitchens.
Yep, Salt & Pepper will be serving up their very own brand of modern Chinese dishes.
I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t love Salt & Pepper, and if there’s anyone out there who has yet to try their salt & pepper goodies on a lunch time – you’ll now be able to enjoy your grub sat down and in the warmth of Black Dog.

They’ll be open from Monday for WALK-INS only between 5pm – 11pm Monday-Friday, and MIDNIGHT on weekends!
