To celebrate the imminent opening of Tawny Stores next year, an organic grocers / kitchen in Marple, owner Beth Hammond is currently hosting a number of supper clubs at Platt Fields Park Market Garden.

With a huge focus on natural, organic produce, Beth has put together all of her expertise from previous cheffing jobs at the likes of Flawd and Little Window to showcase top quality seasonal produce, something that has positioned itself at the forefront of her cooking style.

This includes everything from ethically sourced fish, to hyper local, organic and seasonal vegetables and high welfare organic meats that Beth then uses to craft unique dishes at her incredibly popular supper clubs held in the South Manchester park.

Beth’s last supper club, which sold out in under 24hrs, was inspired by her recent visits to Istanbul and saw a delicious menu featuring cod cheek, bay and lemon kebabs and spiced lambs liver kebabs with isot chilli butter.

Beth also grilled corn with Cornish crab and spiced sesame, finishing the evening with oregano focaccia topped with tzatziki and ezme salad and exclusively paired natural wines from some of her favourite local businesses.

The next supper club, taking place this Thursday, will showcase some of the best vegetables of the season cooked over fire, alongside fresh fish and grilled meats. With inspiration from holidays in the Mediterranean – from Greek, Spanish and Italian flavours, guests are invited to dine and socialise alongside wines from Flawd and beers from independent brewery, Track.

The event runs from 7pm – 10pm at Platt Fields Market Garden inside Platt Fields Park and tickets are on sale now for £40 per person.
