Simply put, these are authentic recipes prepared to an incredibly high standard by an experienced team, which can be taken away and heated at your convenience.
“BANGA Curries is an authentic curry experience with a difference. We take the time to make it how it should be. Everything is made by hand, from scratch. Menus change every month, with delicious starters, meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes, fresh breads and accompaniments,” the team explain. So everything here is sold chilled, and comes with heating instructions. But what can you expect in terms of the food itself? Well, maybe begin with a selection of iconic items from the subcontinent, like seekh kebab, vegetable samosa, and Desi pakora, then move on to larger options. They’re now also available to order on Uber Eats and Shocal, making it even more convenient to have these delicious dishes at home.
By that we mean king prawn jalfrezi, railway lamb curry (meat with potatoes in aromatic sauce with cardamon and coconut milk), and Rajasthani dahl (red split lentils, spiced broth and dried red chillies). Elsewhere on the menu, an incredible selection of homemade chutneys (Green, Spicy Imli), breads and achars are also available to add yet more flavour, and Banga Curries has a special offer just for kids. My First Curry is designed to “introduce your little ones to the world of curries. Succulent butter chicken simmered in the butter sauce”. A creamy, slightly aromatic dish that has no heat from chillies or other spices, but, like everything else here, is packed with incredible flavour.
