Suzy Loves Milo isn’t just another stop on Manchester’s vintage trail – it’s a full-on fashion love letter, with a distinct Tokyo accent and a cult following to match. Hidden just off Stevenson Square on Spear Street, the boutique is a firm favourite among stylists, DJs and passing pop royalty alike. The rails here are loaded with handpicked designer pieces and streetwear sourced directly from Japan, all chosen by owners Suzy and Bobbie, who clearly know their Wtaps from their Bape.

There’s no bulk-buying or generic vintage filler in sight. Instead, expect a rotation of rare finds and one-offs that lean into the avant-garde: think Visvim textures, Comme Des Garçons silhouettes, Stüssy logos and playful Supreme pieces. You won’t find size rails or swing tags – it’s a place that encourages browsing, asking questions, getting a bit lost, and discovering something you didn’t know you needed.

The interior is a thoughtful mix of urban cool and low-key nostalgia: exposed brick, a mezzanine stacked with vinyl curated by Luke Unabomber, retro tech, and rotating local art. Despite the impressive stock and A-list customers (Olivia Rodrigo, Honey Dijon and Nile Rodgers have all paid a visit), it feels accessible and laid-back – a genuinely friendly hangout for those who love fashion with a bit of edge. If you’re into fashion that feels personal, offbeat, and a little bit collectible – this is your spot.
