Ant & Dec delivered a satisfying and totally enjoyable takeaway to a packed Manchester crowd as they made the Phones 4 U Arena their home for 3 of the 34 dates of their UK tour across 12 cities.

The modern day Morecambe and Wise have turned their award-winning ITV show, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway into a live spectacular.

Entering to the apt soundtrack “The Boys are Back in Town’ the pair appeared at the top of the Manchester Arena stairs, delighting the crowd by walking through the aisles to reach the big stage.

It seems the Geordie duo can do no wrong at the moment-everything they touch turns to pure gold and this latest project can be added to that list. Takeaway on Tour is jam-packed with all the fans favourites such as Ant Vs Dec, Singalong Live and Win the Ads.

For the Manchester run the special guest Paddy McGuiness added some local banter as the show’s celebrity announcer and the BLUE boys proved in good voice as they treated the crowd to some of their greatest hits.

From start to finish this was family fun at its finest with some hilarious audience interaction including Dec getting grabbed by an overenthusiastic woman celebrating her 60th and Ant playing cupid helping one audience member carry out a surprise proposal.

Takeaway regular Ashley Roberts joined in the tour action keeping the boys in line and performing her latest track. The former Pussycat Doll looked smokin’ hot and had many a male hot under the collar, not least pint sized Dec!!

Like any good show they saved the best till last as the ‘End of the Show’ Show served up some classic Ant & Dec entertainment. I don’t want to spoil it but let’s just say ‘Get ready to Rumble’!

Catch it if you can, I guarantee you will come out smiling and be in awe of the duo who started out in Byker Grove and have gone on to become the best loved entertainers of the modern generation.
