Watching someone somersaulting glasses over their shoulder, pouring spirits 6ft. away from the glass and twisting twelve lemons while reciting Hamlet backwards; when all you’ve asked for is a simple vodka and coke can sometimes be a little unnerving.
It’s safe to say that bartending, and serious cocktail development and design is big business – not to mention vitally important to any bar or restaurants reputation. Sometimes the success or failure of an establishment can hinder on the cocktails because, as a customer – sometimes you want something that you yourself cannot do.
Well, now you can learn – with Brasserie Abode’s Cocktail Master Class sessions, each one teaching you all about the booze, the science and the method of creating the perfect cocktails – just like Tom Cruise in that movie that I can’t remember the name of.
Based on a minimum of 6 people, the Master Class comes in two iterations; 3 cocktails (£25pp) or 4 (£30pp), both complete with nibbles. On top of this, if you would like to add a three-course dinner to your experience, it’s only an extra £25 per person.
Located in the Brasserie’s stunning private dining room, if you’re looking for the next corporate team building exercise, have a special occasion coming up, or some poor sod is getting married, then you can have an exciting time mixing and drinking, followed by some of the Brasserie’s brilliant eclectic dishes.
