Selfridges Exchange Square and Selfridges Trafford celebrate all that is great about Britain with The Big Beauty Bang, commemorating a summer of the Diamond Jubilee and the 2012 Olympics.

The Big Beauty Bang brings together renowned beauty brands including Creme de la Mer, Estee Lauder, Illamasqua, Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, MAC, NARS and Kiehls, as the Beauty Hall hosts the ultimate in British parties.

From Union Jack champagne, traditional lemonade and cupcakes to a live Hoola Hooper – British and international brands alike revel in the best of British while exclusive products and luxury treatments offer customers a unique experience.

Customers will be given the chance to play on the classic grabber machine, hosted by the infamous Johnny Woo as the fabulous Mary Queen of Shops. Filled with must-have beauty items and fragrances for the summer, customers spending £60 or more in the Beauty Hall will be given a token and can take their turn on the nostalgic grabber machine to win a fabulous prize.

Adding a touch of royalty to the occasion will be a personal appearance from ‘The Queen’, as customers will join the Selfridges look-a-like as she takes to the throne for the ultimate memorial photo.

Marwa the Amazing from Britain’s Got Talent will also be in store spinning her hoops live to some classic British tunes.

Jayne Demuro, Head of Beauty at Selfridges said: “Our Big British Bang celebrations are the perfect opportunity for customers, British and International, to experience everything that we love about Britain.
