Crissy rocks Lowry Hotel ball for children’s charity
Benidorm’s Crissy Rock hopes to boost a Manchester children’s charity by starring at a showbiz ball at The Lowry Hotel on Saturday 7 May.
The comedienne from ITV1’s hit show will be entertaining celebrity guests – including X-Factor winner Shayne Ward – with her popular stand-up routine.
Events company So Beautiful are organising the star studded ‘Beautiful Ball’ in aid of Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, who provide holidays for disabled and disadvantaged children.
So Beautiful promise guests will feel like a VIP as they are welcomed onto the red carpet by paparazzi photographers, interviewed by Inside Out Presenter Jacey Normand and actor Chris Hannon, enjoy a sparkling drinks reception, a four course meal and back to back entertainment all night.
Diners will also be mingling with celebrity guests like Crissy and Shayne – who has just finished his Up Close and Personal Tour – and trying their luck in the raffle and auction with ‘beautiful’ prizes guaranteed.
The night will be topped off with a roof raising performance from sought after blues band Souled As Seen.
Helen Crowther from Children’s Adventure Farm, said: “So Beautiful have pulled out all the stops to make The Beautiful Ball an amazing night for all guests, in aid of our charity.
“For many children the farm is the first step to gaining independence and self-reliance. We cater for children with a diverse range of needs and abilities, in a safe and happy environment where we aim to boost their self-esteem and confidence as well as physical development, through our many activities.”
Patrons of the charity include Jason Manford, Lee Boardman, Freddie Flintoff and president Sir Bobby Charlton.
