Dakota
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know Dakota Hotel has just opened in Manchester. And you’ll know it set up with one of the most extravagant penthouse suites. Designed with supreme comfort in mind, the top floor is decorated with a plush, masculine and sexy bedroom complete with an Emperor size bed, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. The Grand Deluxe Suite is the largest in the city and is complete with a private 8th floor external terrace.
If you don’t fancy staying in the suite for the duration of the stay (what’s wrong with you?), not to worry, the hotel is luxuriously decked out in complete grandeur with a Cigar Garden, Champagne Room and amazing food from the Dakota Grill.

In a league of its own, the Lowry Hotel’s Presidential Suite is a luxurious penthouse complete with floor to ceiling calming river views. With a brand new renovation for 2019, the suite oozes opulence with a side of relaxation and pleasure. The room even comes with a miniature grand piano for all your entertainment needs… If you can’t think of anything else to do in this lavish hotel suite.
There’s complimentary valet, two bars, a second room available, a FULL kitchen and even – which I find to be the best extra as everybody hates doing this – a bag packing service.

Inner Sanctum Suite
Hotel Gotham
The wild child of the bunch, a seductive suite with sumptuous and sexy decor including brass baths and even leather panelled walls. You really can live out your 50 Shades of Grey dreams in this hotel suite, if you want to that is. Each of the 5 suites is named after iconic Manchester figures and feature an honestly bloody massive screen.
To complete your stay there’s Egyptian cotton bed lined, waffle robes, slippers and a fuck-off big shower. Big enough for 2 I’d say, for whatever you want to get up to.

Fabulous on Fifth
Abode Manchester
A spacious and contemporary space complete with a luxurious queen-sized bed, walk-in monsoon shower. Located on Piccadilly approach Fabulous on Fifth is the perfect stay if you want to treat yourself but don’t want to travel too far.
There are five of these suites, all located on the fully converted fifth floor. Each room is kitted out with a celebrity theme, inclusive of portraits on the walls. Prices start from £250 making it one of the most accessible luxurious suites in Manchester.

The Great Abel Suite
King Street Townhouse
An indulgent retreat in the city centre, King Street Townhouse Suites are decked out in calming blues, greens and velvet and complete with a knock out view of the Town Hall and clock tower from both the bedroom and living room.
The two suites available, named Alfred Waterhouse (the architect of the town hall) and Abel Heywood (after the Mayor of Manchester at the time) are located on the fifth floor and include a pretty soothing set up in the bathroom; a bath located in the window to the views. Live out your movie life dreams, glass of bubbly in hand, face mask, and bubble bath. Idyllic.
The panoramic views continue up to the 7th floor where you’ll find the infinity pool that I can promise you will not want to leave.
