What: “Art Explosion” – A Paul Oz exhibition

Award winning Manchester art gallery Generation Pop will be hosting an exhibition by one of Britain’s hottest new artists, Paul Oz.

Recipients of Paul’s artwork include Radio 1’s Chris Moyles, Sir Alex Ferguson and Theo Paphitis –  who Paul is also working on a Comic Relief project with this March. An official artist for both the Bruce Lee family and Muhammad Ali, Paul has also been commissioned by F1 promoters to paint portraits of every driver on the grid at the Silverstone and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix later this year.

His explosive creations give the impression of energy, movement and expression. They are uniquely created with a pallet knife and rich oil paints, which in some places are carved 2cm thick, to maximise the 3D effect. The resulting impact is amazing, especially on his trademark larger pieces, which in some cases can be up to 5ft high!

Paul will be at the exhibition launch in Manchester on the 10th of March.
