Expect dog treats, dog clothing and accessories, dog grooming products, homewares and clothing for dog lovers and owners, live pet portraits and dog inspired face painting for kids (adults welcomed too of course)…it’s the perfect chance to support local makers, take the dog out to a dog-friendly event and enjoy the beautiful and vast grounds of Heaton Park.

The pop-up shop is free to attend and browse, with treats for dogs provided, and will take place in the classroom of The Stables courtyard.

Curated Makers brings together the finest artisans and makers of the North of England via curated pop-up shops, market stalls and creative workshop experiences. They champion small independent businesses and support the uniqueness and value of locally made products.

Curated Makers Founder Megan Jones said:

“We champion small creative makers from across the North of England that make small batch products by hand, by giving them new ways to share their unique and individual products with the public.”

“Pop-up shops are a great way for a curated edit of talented makers to be showcased under one roof for a limited amount of time and this dog-focused curation is the first of many specialised events to come. Heaton Park is the ultimate venue to host this dog-friendly event, providing visitors with a full day out in the park with their families, friends and dogs, with there being so much to embrace and explore within the park. Dog or no dog, if you simply adore dogs then this is a must event for you to visit.”

There are limited spaces available to secure a live dog portrait on the day. If you’d like to pre-book a time slot to secure your portrait then contact curatedmakers@gmail.com or DM on  Facebook to book today. An A5 painting costs £20 and A4 costs £25.
