Do you know what the best thing about Christmas is? Well, it’s got to be the films (and pigs in blankets), but mainly, the films.
There’s literally nothing better than coming in from a long, cold day at work, whacking on a dressing gown, making a brew and putting on Christmas films.
But in true Manchester style, they’re giving us just that but with an added, magical twist. This year, the Mayfield Depot, close to Piccadilly, will be transformed into ‘A Magical Christmas Movie Experience’ that will play our favourite Christmas films inside of a Narnia-inspired winter-wonderland.
On arrival, you’ll enter through a magical wardrobe which will lead to a quaint enchanted forest.
Of course it will be chilly, but there’s no need to worry because there will be blankets and pillows waiting for you that’ll keep you warm and cosy during your movie.
And, what is a movie without drinks and nibbles? During your stay, you will be given mulled wine, festive Christmas cocktails and plenty of yummy winter snacks to satisfy your appetite.
There will be an array of sweet and savoury food on offer from some of Manchester’s best street food vendors and restaurants, who will be there to make your cinema experience as entertaining and delicious as possible!
At only £14.99 a ticket, it’s even cheaper than your average trip to the cinema but far more unique. Could it possibly get any better? Well, I’m sure you’ll agree once you see the line-up:
