September seems like ages away, but the speed in which this year is whizzing by and the increasing number of crags on my face tell me that it will be Autumn in no time. As if to rub these facts in, Indy Man Beer Con are to put their tickets on sale on this very week.
Yes, that’s right – the Independent Manchester Beer Convention is pencilled in for Victoria Baths from Thursday 28th Sept ’til Sunday 1st October and the tickets go on sale this week. The IMBC is a fantastic showcase for all the best breweries from the UK and beyond offering pretty much any beer you can think of. Even Cider.
Helmed by the team behind Common, Port Street Beer House & The Beagle the festival came about through being inspired by the UK’s craft beer movement and frustration that beer festivals in their current form weren’t really representative of this exciting and dynamic part of the industry.
Victoria Baths therefore will be transformed into a Beer paradise, complete with street food, tastings, workshops and live music – as well as the obviously aforementioned beers and ciders. Tickets are very reasonable too – ranged between £8.50 and £13.50. If you want to attend ALL sessions like a crazy beer monster – the Full Fat ticket is £50.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday 24th May at 9pm.
