Yes, it’s the most wonderful time of the year and guess what is back in Manchester once again…Winter Wonderland! For the fourth year running the UK’s largest indoor Christmas theme park has returned to EventCity to sprinkle a little Xmas magic into our lives.

Manchester’s Finest headed to the mammoth 22,000 sq m exhibition space, next to the Intu Trafford Centre, to check out over 50 family rides and attractions all under one roof.

This year there’s some new additions to the usual festive themed rides and shows, for the first time ever Winter Wonderland puts on a mini-panto, Cinderella, which has kids and adults squealing in delight ‘he’s behind you’.

The festive force is also awakened for 2016 as Winter Wonderland gives a nod to the recent Star Wars with a brand new Sci-Fi show that gives little ones the chance to train like a Jedi Knight.

And for those ‘Bah Humbugs’ who don’t believe that Santa Claus exists then be prepared to eat humble ‘mince’ pie as Mr. Christmas himself – aka The Man in the Red Suit – has transported his North Pole house to the North West and you can walk through all his rooms and even see his real life reindeer!

Winter Wonderland sessions last 4 hours so make sure you cram as much in as you can as there’s so much to see and do you won’t want to miss out. Our kids loved everything, especially meeting the one of the many elves who were cheerily bouncing around putting their own Xmas twist on a ‘s-elfie’!

It doesn’t matter if you are 3, 13, 30 or more when you step inside Winter Wonderland you become a kid at heart and there really is something to everyone to enjoy.
