The second Victoria Baths Fanzine Convention, to be held on Saturday 19 May, will explore how the virtual world is allowing global networks of self-publishers to share their work and experiences, from zine libraries to collaborative publications and printing co-operatives.

Visitors will be able to browse/buy zines and take part in workshops to make their own zine or contribute to a collective Victoria Baths Fanzine. As well as talks and tours of the building, the Convention will screen Salford Zine Library’s film Self Publishers of the World Take-over, which features self-publishers from all over the world talking about their work.

Also on display will be an exhibition of posters of inspirational women by Leeds-based zine maker Melanie Maddison. Caribou, a zine store in a vintage caravan, will be setting up shop outside the Baths and Norwich’s Deerly Beloved Bakery will be selling vegan treats.
