This Valentines, Brasserie Abode has a sumptuous menu filled with everything luxurious. Start with truffle mushroom soup, followed by lobster and salmon ravioli, dry-aged fillet of beef with crispy beef cheek and finished off with a pink Champagne jelly and dark chocolate. All this and a bottle of Prosecco to share for £110 per couple, this menu is everything you need to get you in the mood for love.
Traditional A la Carte Menu at Don Giovanni
Manchester’s oldest Italian is keeping things simple this Valentines and giving diners the freedom to order what they want from the entire A la Carte menu. No forced set menus here, Don Giovanni is letting the Romance of their food speak for itself with passionate dishes like Risotto Aragosta (lobster risotto), Chateaubriand (fillet steak to share) or Capesanté All ‘Orientalé (scallops with cherry tomatoes) to name but a few.
Special Valentine’s Dishes at Tattu
For those in the mood for romance, Tattu will be serving its winter à la carte menu on Valentine’s Day with a limited-edition sharing dish and cocktail available between 14th – 17th February. The dish is a plum Sake-glazed Peking duck served with vermicelli fritters, cucumber and spring onion, priced £48 for two to share, while the Good Night Kiss dessert cocktail blends Pinot Grigio, hazelnut liqueur and gingerbread, with a white chocolate and strawberry foam, priced £10.
Dinner, Room & Breakfast at The Lowry Hotel
Sometimes getting away for a night with your significant other is just what you need for your Valentine’s Day treat, and it looks like The Lowry Hotel is the place to be this year. For £229 you can enjoy dinner at The River Restaurant with a glass of Champagne, a room with a complimentary upgrade to one of their superior river view bedrooms and a full English breakfast in the morning.
