Last night’s VIP launch of The Liars Club Tiki Dive Bar and Caribbean Rum Shop, situated under Mojo, was a fantastic night, with Tiki girls, exotic cocktails and over 400 guests over the night with famous faces including Rebecca Atkinson (Shameless), Ben Batt (Shameless, Sirens, Scott and Bailey), Emma Edmondson (ex Coronation Street) and Hollie-Jay Bowes (Hollyoaks).
The new bar comes from the owners of Citylife’s Bar of the Year 2010 Black Dog Ballroom Ross Mackenzie and Jobe Ferguson and was created with the Tiki expertise of Lyndon Higginson.
Ross Mackenzie comments: “Last night’s VIP launch of The Liars Club was a triumph. Around 400 guests attended the party which started at 6 and went on til 4am! It had just the right Tiki atmosphere with our Tiki girls greeting guests with garlands at the door and exotic cocktails for all.
The bar looks fantastic, and Lyndon and the team have done the perfect job of creating that slice of Tiki heaven that was missing from Manchester’s business district. We can’t wait to see how it develops.”
