Explore colonial legacies, collective memory, and what it means to be part of the story, or pushed out of it. This show forms part of Black History Month at HOME.

The Yalla crew join the burgeoning Friday night posse to be taking over the decks at APT. Disco, above Cane & Grain. The parties are being thrown in conjunction with Red Bull, so expect tunes and vibes across the gamut from hip hop, dancehall and afrobeats to electronica in this loft-style space in the middle of the NQ.
Clothing Fair and Film Screening
Heaton Moor’s Savoy Cinema team up Smart Works Greater Manchester for an afternoon of community, clothing and charity. Marking International Day of the Girl 2025, they will host a clothing fair alongside a talk with Smart Works, followed by a screening of film favourite The Devil Wears Prada. Smart Works is a UK charity that provides women with the clothing, coaching and confidence they need to succeed in interviews and get the job. In the past decade, Smart Works has opened 11 centres across the UK and helped more than 30,000 women ahead of their interviews; helping 4,400 women ahead of interviews across Greater Manchester in particular since opening in 2015.
