1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Manchester’s Finest mobile application (the “App”), provided by MCR Finest Ltd (company number 08484390), “we”, “us”, “our”. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.
Our Privacy and Data policy explains how we collect and use your personal data, and forms part of these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the App. By registering, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you meet this age requirement.
3. Your account
- You register using your name and email address, and select categories of interest to personalise your experience.
- You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings > Delete Account) or by contacting hello@manchestersfinest.com. Deleting your account will remove your access to any unredeemed perks.
4. The App and its content
The App provides a searchable directory of places (bars, restaurants, cafes, events, and other venues) in and around Manchester, along with perks or offers (“Perks”) that can be redeemed at participating venues.
We try to keep listings and Perks accurate and up to date, but we don’t guarantee that any specific place, opening hours, menu, or Perk will be available at any given time.
5. Perks and redemption
- Perks (such as a free coffee or discount) are offered at the discretion of the participating venue and are subject to availability.
- Each Perk may have its own conditions (e.g. one redemption per user, minimum spend, expiry date), which will be shown in the App alongside the offer.
- Perks have no cash value and can’t be exchanged, resold, or combined with other offers unless stated.
- We act as an intermediary between you and the venue. The venue is responsible for delivering the product or service associated with the Perk; we’re not responsible for the quality, safety, or availability of what a venue provides.
- We reserve the right to withdraw, amend, or cancel any Perk at any time, including after you’ve claimed it but before you’ve redeemed it in venue.
- We may limit the number of Perks any one user can redeem, and may suspend an account we reasonably believe is misusing the Perks system (e.g. creating multiple accounts to redeem the same offer repeatedly).
6. Acceptable use
When using the App you agree not to:
- provide false information when registering;
- attempt to redeem a Perk fraudulently or interfere with another user’s account or redemption;
- copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer the App or its listings for commercial reuse;
- use the App in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone else’s rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
7. Third-party venues
Venues listed in the App are independent businesses and are not part of, or controlled by, Manchester’s Finest. Your interactions with a venue (including any purchase, booking, or in-person visit) are between you and that venue, and their own terms and policies will apply. We’re not liable for the acts or omissions of any venue.
8. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, logos, text, and underlying software, belongs to us or our licensors. You may use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use only.
9. Availability and changes to the App
We may update, suspend, or withdraw the App (or any feature of it) at any time, including for maintenance, and we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The App is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we don’t accept liability for losses arising from your use of a venue’s products or services;
- we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. loss of profit or opportunity);
- nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so (for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll let you know via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
