The Bee Centre help provide the means to create habitats for bees to save the population, raising awareness of their valuable role in supporting the environment.

‘The Lowry Hotel Beehive’ harvest luxurious honey by experts from The Bee Centre.

You can expect the honey in a variety of dishes on the menu an even a new signature cocktail ‘The Bee Keeper’. A serving of the special honey, Mount gay rum, lime ginger beer and a dash of Angostura bitters is shaken and served with a mint, ginger and lime garnish.

The new honey demonstrates the hotel’s attempts to use more sustainably sourced products and support of local suppliers.

The bee is an iconic symbol of Manchester and honey is the perfect discrete homage to the city.
