Erst, since I went for the first time a few months ago has quickly become one of my favourite places to eat and I’ve been advising everyone to take advantage of their brilliant meal deals they have on offer ever since.

That includes the delicious lunch deal available Thursday – Saturday which boasts 3 amazing courses and a glass of natural wine or beer available on the taps for just £20.

It feels like such a treat to have an all natural and organic meal in the heart of the coolest part of Manchester too.

Well, Erst have had their thinking caps on and created a delicious 3-course Sunday Lunch menu too.

Now, I’m sure you know by now that the beauty of Erst is the seasonal menu. That means nothing will ever be the same. A shame if you find your favourite ever dish but bloody brilliant for the environment.

Well their Sunday Lunch offering is no different.

Changing weekly, the starter last week was Endive, garlic and anchovies bagna cauda & pecans. A simple and delicious starter that is a perfect cleanse to the start of a meal.

For mains course Erst are serving Braised Short Rib, that is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, served alongside a soft and perfectly whipped swede purée, cavolo nero, crispy potato cubes and horse radish.

The veggie option is served with the same sides and roasted celeriac, all drizzled in a mushroom based gravy.

For dessert is erst’s famous malt ice cream – an absolute delight and the perfect way to end a spectacular roast dinner.
