Throughout December, The River Restaurant is serving three-course menus for both lunch and dinner every day. Filled with natural light, luxury furnishings and providing diners with the iconic river views – the brand-new space has undergone a proper festive makeover.
With their modern approach to British cuisine, expect second-to-none service, meticulously sourced delicious ingredients and a beautiful atmosphere this December.
Providing their exquisite set menus throughout the festive period – diners can enjoy a 3-course Festive Lunch for £25pp (Thursday – Sunday from 12pm – 4pm) or Dinner for £29.500pp (Daily from 6pm – 10pm) They are also offering a Festive Afternoon Tea for £24pp, available every day from 12pm – 4pm.
Providing the perfect first-class pre-Christmas celebration, the Festive Menus include meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.
For starters, guests can enjoy Cream of Cauliflower Soup (with chive oil and roasted chestnuts), Chicken Liver Parfait (with Port and fig chutney and ciabatta croute) or Rillette of Oaked Smoked Sea Trout (with pickled celery and fennel slaw)
To follow, mains include Roast Supreme of Cod (with clam chowder, roasted leeks and crispy shallots) and Ballantine of Turkey (with cranberry and sage stuffing, pigs in blankets, Dauphinoise potatoes and red wine jus)
Desserts include Traditional Christmas Pudding and a triple chocolate mousse (pain de epice and poached pear) Followed by mini mince pies and coffee.
