The festival will take over King Street on Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd June with tonnes of events and activities.
Manchester Flower Show will be transforming the balconies, lamp posts, bus stops and even parking bays with bloom. The flower power theme showcases the regions best floristry including stalls from Flourish and indoor plant specialist Nonsense.
The flower event is paying homage to the Manchester Flower Show that began in 1955 and will see a Magic Roundabout inspired garden, the botanical transformation of a VW Beetle, a Votes for Women garden inspired by The Suffragettes and even a red rose carpet complete with models donning floral gowns.
They’ll be a range of activities from free tote bag making courtesy of ethical brand Patagonia to flower crown workshops from RHS Bridgewater and life-size games of chess, Connect 4, and Jenga.
