In a bid to entice more men into the arms of this classically-British pastime, one Manchester hotel has taken a different approach to afternoon tea that is bound to attract even the biggest sceptics.
Lawn Coffee in the Princess St. Hotel has created a unique Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea, designed specifically with men in mind.
Replacing traditional cucumber sandwiches and nibbles with naughtier treats, the menu includes mini cheeseburgers, chicken and waffles, homemade sausage rolls, fish finger sandwiches, chips and dips, sultana scones, chocolate fudge brownies and optional chicken wings for £5 more.
And to top it all off, each guest will receive a bottle of beer and tea of their choice, all for £27 a head.
Gender aside, this package is available to all sexes – every single day. As part of an impressive portfolio, Lawn Coffee also offer a Classic, Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free and Toddlers afternoon tea’s if the gentleman’s selection isn’t quite doing it for you.
