Manchester’s only classic film cinema is dedicating a weekend to Nicolas Cage!

House of Cage is a mini festival celebrating the life and work of Nicolas Cage for one full weekend at Chapeltown Picture House.

The festival is showcasing all the cult classics starring the meme-friendly Nicolas Cage. Kicking off with the comedy, Raising Arizona by the Coen Brothers’ and quickly followed by David Lynch’s Wild at Heart.

Saturday sees the nineties action movies Con Air and The Rock before things get a bit weird on Sunday with Bad Lieutenant before wrapping up with the strange horror Mandy.

The cinemas is home to Squawk Brewing Co’s tap room, full of an excellent range of craft beer, wine, ciders and soft drinks. There’s also freshly made popcorn and ice creams available in the card only bar.
