Pop icon and global sensation Nelly Furtado will play at this summer’s Manchester Pride, it has been confirmed.

The singer, behind 2000s hits including Maneater and Promiscuous, will perform on the main stage at the LGBTQ+ festival, taking place August Bank Holiday weekend. She is the final music act to be added to the bill, which will see performances at stages across the legendary Gay Village party from Friday 22 to Monday 25 August.

Nelly Furtado completes the roster of this year’s fellow headliners Brit Award-winner Olly Alexander, multi-platinum selling Leigh-Anne and Hollywood superstar Billy Porter.

They are all joined on the bill by chart topping acts like Tulisa, Big Freedia, Tayce, Sonique and Louis Johnson, as well as internationally acclaimed drag queen, DJ, and music producer, Jodie Harsh, and multi-award winning cabaret artist, Danny Beard with The Danny Beard Show.

Adding even more sparkle to the lineup, Manchester Pride also welcomes DJ Paulette to the Sunday Mardi Gras roster. A homegrown legend who knows exactly how to turn the tables and keep the dance floor pumping with pure Pride energy.

Mark Fletcher, CEO of Manchester Pride, said: “Welcoming an Icon like Nelly Furtado alongside DJ Paulette and Moonchild Sanelly further showcases the diversity of musical tastes that we’re catering for. They’re each sure to create some unforgettable moments.

“Manchester Pride 2025 will be bold, brilliant, and bursting with Pride energy, but it’s at a tipping point. Pride can only thrive if our community shows up: by attending events, joining the Parade, and buying supporter bands. We’ve seen what happens when we don’t rally together, and we cannot let that happen in our City. This is the moment to stand up, come together, party as a protest and ensure Pride continues to shine long into the future.”
