Kong’s Cantina at Black Dog

TBC
Chef and Owner of Kong’s Chicken Shop, Tom Potts has revealed that his next venture is set to serve up a Mexican-influenced menu of cheesy quesadillas and jam-packed tacos, which will soon be available at Black Dog in the heart of Northern Quarter. ‘Kong’s Cantina’ will be the sixth concept from the restaurant, which first burst onto the scene at the beginning of lockdown, a step away from the loaded sandwiches and crisped to perfection fried chicken they’re generally known for, but bound to be equally as good.

Lucky Ramen and Sushi

Open Now
Relaunching today, Lucky Ramen and Sushi will open its doors once again after a short hiatus, equipped with a brand-new sushi menu expertly crafted by its latest chef. We made the trip earlier in the week and tried the Sashimi Platter, the Nigiri Platter and the signature Lücky Uramaki Roll which is sushi rice filled with tempura prawn that’s then topped with seared salmon – a must-try.

Still operating out of Mule on Blossom Street, where the restaurant takes over the kitchen from 5pm – 10pm every Wednesday – Thursday, Lucky Ramen transforms the brunch spot into a Tokyo-inspired late-night ramen and cocktail bar complete with seriously good grub.
