The latest food trend has arrived in Manchester in the form of the most Instagrammable croissant in the world.
Saint Croissants, started by local baker Aimée Soudry, opened in May 2020 to help bring a little bit of joy to people’s lives in lockdown.
The colourful treats quickly gathered a massive cult following on Instagram, racking up almost 12k followers.
The signature croissant, ‘Pink Choc & Party Rings’ is an 80s throwback combining childhood crunchy biscuits with a beautifully layered buttery croissant.
For those who like salted caramels, ‘Salt Bae‘ features a layer of salted caramel base topped with Milky Bar Kid, White Choc Twix and a drizzle of Salted Caramel to top it all off!
You can also grab the ‘Double Crunchie‘, ‘Oreo Cheesecake, ‘The Artful Jammie Dodger‘ and ‘The Steg‘ which combines a New York Cheesecake Base with Lotus Biscoff and Cadbury Giant Choc Buttons.
For an extra special Valentine’s weekend, there’s a whole new ‘Saint Valentine‘ range which has already completely sold out.
The bundle boxes of croissants and cronuts see flavours like white hazelnut Bueno filling with caramel cherry chocolate toppers plus white chocolate Reeses Peanut Butter Cups with salted caramel chocolates.
A mixed box of three croissants will set you back £15 or a mixed box of six croissants and cronuts are £30.
Soudry has also set up the ‘Saint Swag‘ shop which features a whole range of branded gifts from aprons to sweaters and even croissant enamel pins.
