We can finally see the light at the end of this shitty tunnel – with a clear roadmap of when we can finally go out, see some friends and actually live our lives once more.

The first step on this roadmap is to let all of those little gargoyles go back to school. Great news for all you parents out there – not so much the teachers.

The next step will come into force on Monday 12th April, when all non-essential retail, hairdressers, zoos, theme parks, drive-in cinemas and libraries can open, as well as PUBS & RESTAURANTS! Well, for “outdoor service” only – but with NO curfew and NO requirement to order a stupid substantial meal.

As a result, Hatch over on Oxford Road will be all clear to re-open their doors on the 12th, back to serving up some of the city’s best street food, giving out haircuts and offering up some cracking clobber – all from their moderate space under the Mancunian Way.

The list of food and drink is mightily impressive, with the likes of Grandad’s Sausages, FUKU, Herbivorous and Hanoi 75 set to return. You’ll also be able to stuff your face with parmo at Parmogeddon, and Spanish delights at the city’s smallest tapas bar – Abeja.

Stockport’s finest – Ate Days a Week will be serving up some seriously good sandwiches, and our favourite – Brazilian & Portuguese joint KBOM will be firing up the flame grills once again!

In addition all of this, April will of course see the return of Portland Barbers, Sneaker Pharm, Suzy Loves Milo and plenty more places where you can spend your hard-saved lockdown cash.

To get prepared, Hatch have introduced a booking system so that you can get your space ready for the 12th, click below to get involved…
