Luckily, the pandemic has started to bring people together including random acts of kindness that will have you smiling until Christmas.
One of which includes Street Cars offering to help those who are stuck in self-isolation and those over 65.
The taxi company has announced free deliveries of shopping for anyone over the age of 65 who is struggling to get out.
They’re also offering a service to pick-up and drop-off for any shopping for anyone who is self-isolating.
The act comes from seeing the pictures on social media with vulnerable elderly people not being able to grab any essentials from the shops due to panic buying.
“The above is quite heart-breaking so we at StreetCars are willing to do shopping pickups and drops for anyone self-isolating or in quarantine AND will do this for FREE to anyone over 65! Just call our normal phone lines and mention the above!
