Eat Well MCR have come up with a genius way of getting people to donate to their cause, and it involves a load of Corrie stars and a pub quiz.
In case you haven’t heard, Eat Well MCR is a hospitality collective initially formed in response to the UK food crisis worsened by the rapid spread of COVID-19.
Their purpose is to offer care and support to the community through the provision of nutritious and delicious food, prepared with love by chefs and fight food inequality, tackle food waste and promote a fairer and more sustainable food landscape in Manchester.
On Saturday 13th June they’ve managed to rope in ten famous faces from Coronation Street to take part in a massive Pub Quiz on Zoom.
The Rovers Return team will feature: Jack Shepherd (David Platt), Sally Dynevor (Sally Webster), Sally Ann Matthews (Jenny Bradley), Peter Gun (Brian Packham), Colson Smith (Craig Tinker), Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs), Helen Worth (Gail Platt), Sam Aston (Chesney Brown), Dolly-Rose Campbell (Gemma Winter) & Tanisha Gorey (Asha Alahan).
How do you get involved? So tickets to join the Pub Quiz will go on AUCTION on Thursday 4th June, with all proceeds going to help those in need. All you need to do is head over to their site (below) and get bidding away.
