Escape to Freight Island
From Saturday 5th February until Saturday 19th March, Escape to Freight Island will present the Guinness Six Nations Championship. The much-loved venue will be the biggest collaboration with Guinness in the UK outside of London. A sprawling Deansgate bar where sport comes first, Box is one of the best places to watch the rugby in Manchester. Bierkeller is renowned for its huge steins of beer and cheesy tunes, but it’s also a great place to watch a bit of sport! The massive screens around the venue document the highs and lows as they happen in HD, and the atmosphere is always electric. And by electric I mean there’ll most definitely be someone who’s fallen off one of the tables after getting a little over excited.

Where better to watch the Six Nations than in an Irish Bar that will probably pour Guinness directly into your gob if you ask? Mulligans will show all of the matches in its cosy pub just off Deansgate, and, from Thursday to Sunday, it also has some great live music, so if you’re looking to make a night of it, you know where to go.
