In true Weekly Drool style, this bad boy is packed to the brim with all the best food groups. Big appetite? No problem – enjoy this combo of beef, melting cheese and plenty of sauces.
You’ve seen them around Manchester, the ‘best burger this side of Santa Monica’ posters which popped up out of the blue – well they truly aren’t lying.
Manchester’s newest Santa Monica-inspired independent burger spot, Patty Queen, has just landed at Escape To Freight Island and my god are you in for a treat.
Escape To Freight Island is Manchester’s newest urban landscape rebuilt and rethought. There’s food markets, open-air bars, culture spaces and plenty of seating (so basically, all the best things from a festival!)
Down at Platform 15, you won’t be stuck for choice. A lil something for everyone, Patty Queen is serving up beef, chicken, veggie AND vegan options along with a delicious range of sides and dips.
So, what’s between THOSE two buns?
We enjoyed the Double Beef Cheese which included two smashed aged beef patties with hot and dripping melting cheese, top and bottom dressing, chopped lettuce, beef tomato, red onion and crunchy pickles inside of a deliciously soft toasted potato brioche bun.
It’s so, so good.
See you this weekend Patty Queen!
