Sitting for some food upstairs in BAB, perhaps you’ve decided that you want to tackle their amazing new Seafood Mixed Kebab with fried calamari, soft shell crab and octopus, or perhaps just a bowl of Greek Fries and a couple of pints.
Well, unbeknown to you, the basement bar in BAB plays host to a range of events over the course of each month, and coming up are some absolute crackers – an evening of Drag Bingo, and ‘BAB To The Future’ – an 80’s cocktail and karaoke evening of epic proportions!
Drag Bingo
Saturday 25th September, 8pm, £12
The evening will be hosted by Burnley lass Misty Chance, a comedy drag queen who has been performing up and down the country for the last 20 years. She has weekly residencies on Canal Street and hosts Quiz Nights, Karaoke Nights, Cabaret Shows and now… Drag Bingo!
She’ll be providing you with your dibbers and your dabbers and letting you know all about your two fat ladies and maybe throwing out a few 69’s while she’s at it.
As you’d expect with bingo there’ll be a long list of prizes to win including bar tabs, dining experiences, cash prizes and more.
BAB To The 80’s
Saturday 2nd October, 8pm, £10
Following the week after Drag Bingo, BAB will be launching a brand-new 80s Karaoke Night, hosted by Jai Jai Prince and featuring a night of top eighties anthems and loads of singing.
If you’re a fan of a bloody good sing-song – this will be perfect, as you’re treated to a cocktail on arrival, before the songs start – from a bit of Jacko through to Madonna, Wham!, The Human League, Duran Duran and hundreds more to choose from.
