BJ's at home... WHAT?!

Everybody knows that the chicken wings at Bunny Jackson’s are – I’m gonna say it – the best in the city.

What’s more, they start at 20p a wing. I’m gonna say that again just to let that really sink in – 20p A WING.

It is ludicrously cheap but they’re also FIT.

With Boris’ latest rule it’s put a damper on the vibes of BJs – the place you’d be welcomed in from a wet and cold evening on First Street with open arms and a bucket full of wings, even at the earliest hours of the morning.

I’ve been missing BJ’s for a while now so it caught my eye when they wrote a suspicious post on Facebook including Homer Simpson.

I could describe it but I’m just going to put it in for you so you get the full visual effect and get as excited as I did last night.

Are you giddy? Course you bloody are.

Once you get passed the exciting jumping stage you realise that there’s one reason they chose this pic of Homer and it’s because the folks down have to see us lot looking EXACTLY like that, every time we venture through the doors at BJs. Sorry!

Anyway – they shared the post with a nice simple message: ‘BJs at home? Sounds good doesn’t it?’

And BOY does it.

We didn’t have to wait long to get the menu either and it is banging.

They’ve got all your favourite wings and then some. If you’ve never had a BJ wing before – let me break it down for you.

The Buffalo wing is the true classic, its tangy and a little bit sour but there’s a good whack of heat and you’re lips will be tingling. These are my favourite and if you don’t know where you stand with BJ’s go for this one.

BBQ is a complex sauce with a hint of aniseed flavour in these bad boys giving you that classic sweet and spice combo.

If you wanna go all out and dip your whole foot in the BJ wing world – go for the bucket of 25 where you can try every single sauce. Report back – I’m excited to hear what you all think.

There’s plenty of social distancing measures in place and even the posters are wearing a mask – so don’t forget yours.

Keep an eye on their socials to find out more.
