A co-production between NIAMOS and Manchester’s circus-specialists The Circus House, Letsby Avenue will be the first circus show at the historic Playhouse Theatre in Hulme, once the renowned home of the BBC Northern and the Nia Centre for African & Caribbean Culture.

The new show promises to be a riotous, physical celebration of Manunicans in lockdown – A COUNCIL HOUSE CABARET!

Directed by Alex Anderson and Seren Marimba, with original music from Ku’umba and hosted by MC Chunky, the evening will also feature performances by Metrodome, Jordi Pordi, Laurie, Sa’arankasi and more. It’ll brim with humour and community spirit at the end of a bitter year.

Taking place online between Sunday 20th and Wednesday 23rd December, if Manchester gets dropped into Tier 2 from the 16th December, the performances will also be open to seated audiences also.
