Manchester's KnownOrigin is Hosting a Digital Fashion Exhibition in the Metaverse

KnownOrigin presents Cult Couture: A Digital Fashion Exhibition taking place at their Decentraland gallery between Friday 25th – Monday 28th March, as part of the Metaverse Fashion Week Celebrations.

The exhibition will open with a party on Friday 25th March at 6pm UTC, which will feature digital fashion works by artists such as Soze, Jon Sanchez, Fabeeo Breen,and Charli Cohen.

Electrified by Vector Meldrew’s and Eclectic Method’s infamous DJ sets, attendees will enjoy a rave night of poses, catwalks and digital couture.

“This will certainly be an exhibition to remember. We have run #FashionFridays for 8 months and, in that time, digital fashion has done nothing but explode; you see it everywhere, and we are proud to present the work of our artists with an unprecedented meta bash” said Edua Sykes, KnownOrigin’s Events Manager and Digital Fashion Consultant.

The dress code? Bring your best wearables.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in their favourite wearables and upload screenshots of their avatars to Twitter for a chance to win digital fashion NFTs created by Soze and Jon Sanchez.

“Metaverse Fashion Week is the new way to captivate the future generation of fashionistas. It is community-driven virtual events that help shape the culture of web3.0, and digital fashion is its latest accessory” added Jake Hatt, KnownOrigin’s VR and Immersive Tech Specialist.

An exclusive, digital-cloth-covered POAP created by artist Midwest Misfit will be available for guests to prove their attendance to the biggest digital fashion NFT exhibition of the year.
Prior to the event, at 5PM UTC, KnownOrigin will host another session of their #FashionFridays on Twitter Spaces.
