With fervour for its return nearing boiling point, Sankeys has revealed the first wave of artists set to perform at its new Sidney Street location throughout February to June 2026, marking the next chapter for the underground institution.

The comprehensive A–Z lineup includes a mouthwatering mix of legendary performers and rising talent, with more special guests and additions to be announced in the coming months.

Now operating as an intimate 500-capacity venue off Oxford Road, Sankeys will pick up where it left off, championing fresh, forward-thinking electronic music alongside established names and developing exciting emerging talent.

Sankeys is set to officially relaunch with its opening weekend on 30–31 January, followed by weekly Saturday events from 7 February, including the return of the legendary Tribal Sessions as a monthly residency.

The Saturday line-ups promise a broad spectrum of electronic styles, spanning deep house, garage and pumping techno.

Artists confirmed so far include Felix Da Housecat (pictured), Maya Jane Coles, Solardo, Stacey Pullen, Steve Lawler, Magda, Nick Curly, Oxia, Josh Butler, Heidi, Lauren Lo Sung, Priku, Reboot, Robbie Doherty, Seb Zito, Tania Vulcano, Pirate Copy, Rossko, Kellie Allen, Cristina Lazic, Bontan, Boss Priester, Krysko, Luca606, OD Muzique, Rio Tashan, Ruby Richards and many more, all reflecting Sankeys’ long-standing commitment to showcasing a broad spectrum of electronic styles.

The club’s return to Manchester marks its first permanent presence in the city since the closure of its celebrated Ancoats venue in 2017, a closure that left a mill-shaped hole in the Northern club scene.

The new space on Sidney Street – likely to be the former Bread Shed (and before that Zoo) venue – has been designed to capture the stripped-back, immersive atmosphere that defined the famous Sankeys experience, complete with its iconic LED matrix installation and a no-VIP, no-phones dancefloor policy.

With these elements in place, Sankeys reaffirms its commitment to the raw, immersive club culture that made it a UK clubbing mainstay.
