Next Thursday (22nd September) marks the launch of the brand-new season of Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK, and to celebrate GRUB is hosting a huge party with bottomless booze and street food to celebrate.
Taking place at its Red Bank destination, guests will be welcomed with a ‘No Tea No Shade’ cocktail or mocktail before the viewing party kicks off at 7.30pm.
Throughout the 60-minute episode, fellow Drag Race fanatics will enjoy bottomless drinks alongside food from GRUB’s famous street food traders. To get the bottomless booze, you must order one food dish, with the drinks options comprising fizz, house beer, house cider, house wine, as well as a range of non-alcoholic alternatives.
There’ll then be another viewing party hosted on 24th November, the show’s finale, that will follow the same bottomless concept. Tickets for each event cost £20 per person and include the welcome cocktail and bottomless drink, food must be purchased separately.
Doors will open at 7pm with yet-to-be-announced entertainment provided from 7.30pm. Bottomless drinks will then be poured from 9pm onwards as the show is screened in GRUB’s cosy venue!
This year, there are three North West queens competing for the crown; Manchester legend Cheddar Gorgeous, Sminty Drop and Danny Beard. Now in its fourth season Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK celebrates some of the best drag talent across the UK, gathering a family of fierce queens along the way.
Previous years have seen local legends Divina De Campo, Gothy Kendoll and Veronica Green fly the flag for the North West, and this year there’s some very strong competition including performers from the likes of London, Belfast, Sussex, Birmingham, Yorkshire and Brighton.
