To celebrate Mother’s Day, five-star hotel, The Lowry Hotel, has announced it will be hosting a LIMITLESS Afternoon Tea: complete with unlimited cakes, sandwiches, desserts, scones and live entertainment!
Famed for its decadent afternoon tea served in the River Restaurant, The Lowry Hotel’s Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea celebration has been upgraded to The Grand Ballroom, where tables will be stacked high with sweet treats and savoury delicacies.
Mothers, mother figures, families and children are all welcome to attend the afternoon celebration and indulge in the hotel’s five-star surroundings.
On the sweet treats menu guests can expect the likes of Lemon & Ginger Choux Craqualin, Raspberry & White Chocolate and Pistachio Gateaux, Praline Tart with Milk Chocolate and Lowry honey (fresh from the Manchester Bee Centre) and Passionfruit Cheesecake with a rainbow selection of coloured flavoured Macaroons.
The savoury selection includes Lincolnshire Pork & Wild Mushroom Sausage Rolls and a variety of delicate tea sandwiches including poached Loch Duart Salmon with horseradish crème fraiche, Baked Ham with Piccalilli and Oak-Smoked Cheese with carrot and spring onion.
And for those who find it difficult to decide between a fruit or plain scone, guests are welcome to indulge in both this Mother’s Day, with unlimited freshly baked scones served with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve on offer.
For the little ones, the hotel’s Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea includes ham, tuna and egg sandwiches, strawberry marshmallow skewers with chocolate dipping sauce, double chocolate brownies and homemade candyfloss.
The Lowry Hotel’s limitless Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea is priced at £35.00pp for adults and £15.00pp for children with sittings available between 12:00 – 16:00 on Sunday 27th March (2-hour bookings per table).
Live music from pianist, James, will be performed throughout the day downstairs in the bar, providing the perfect soundtrack to a five-star, relaxing Sunday spent with loved ones.
And to keep the children (and adults) entertained, Magic by Carl, will also be interacting with guests and showing off his fantastic tricks.
