Landing in Sale’s Stanley Square THIS Friday, Good Market is a brand-new addition to Manchester’s burgeoning creative market scene, that has only grown post pandemic.
With a ‘shop better’ mission, Good Market was established post COVID-19, as its organisers responded to the post-pandemic need for community and thoughtful shopping.
Already blossoming in Liverpool, the concept hasn’t stopped there, as in times like these the value of supporting local, buying better, shopping small and supporting independent retailers is more important than ever.
Northern cities such as Manchester are brimming with community, talent and potential, as Good Market’s Liverpool events have already clearly indicated. With big-name collaborations with the likes of LUSH, Leaf & Homotopia and a vast community of creatives, the market also has a fantastic programme of events already under its belt, too, so it’s seemingly the perfect fit for the city’s independent foodie district of Sale.
The recent renovations of Stanley Square have seen the once archaic 1960s shopping centre revived and brought back to life in a modern age, ready once again to be filled with talented creatives, live DJs and lots of happy faces, something that Good Market promises to bring.
Speaking of the event, the organisers said: “It’s about creating community events, nodding back to the past era of markets and bringing them into our modern age of having a curated selection of the very best stockists to browse, and having a day (or night) of fun, with no panic shopping in sight.”
It all kicks off with the very first Twilight Market this Friday September 16th, which runs from 3pm – 8pm. Everyone is welcome to attend, with Good Market’s main aim centred around showcasing something different, allowing guests to leave with happy faces and some of the best local quality products around.
From then, Good Market’s next events will take place on Saturday 8th October, Saturday 12th November and Saturday 10th December 2022.
