The Pen & Pencil celebrate their 7th birthday this Saturday 24th September, which, considering the speed and frequency in which businesses come and go in Manchester – is a very impressive milestone indeed.
Like anyone celebrating their birthday, they’re putting on a big party, and this one is FREE and includes all of their cocktails for just £7 between 7pm and 9pm.
The choice of cocktails is truly monumental, with some absolute crackers to choose from including the Humito Rosada made with Dobel Humito tequila, Aperol, grapefruit bitters, cranberry juice and topped with cranberry and ginger tonic, and the Mazzaberry with Bulleit Bourbon, blackberry liqueur, amaretto, fresh blackberries, apple juice and lime and soda.
A personal favourite is their Tiki Swirl made using El Dorado 5yr Rum, Kraken, Wray & Nephew, pineapple juice, lime, fresh passionfruit and grenadine. Oh, and you should try their Monkey Hanger Margarita with Ocho Blanco tequila, melon liqueur, grapefruit bitters and lime.
The night will be soundtracked by A Deeper Groove and then Hacienda legend Dave Haslam – so you’re in safe hands all night until 2am.
