I say this, sat at my desk on a Monday morning, desperately hungover from an extremely heavy Sunday Funday. But despite having my head in a bucket, #NoRegrets. So, if you’d like to feel as deathly as I do right this second, read on!

Bunny Jacksons
The Happiest Hour in the City
Ben Brown discovered a glitch in the system not so long ago, he aptly named it The Happiest Hour in the City. As I write this, he’s suffering from enjoying this hour too much last night. Available every day between 9 – 11pm pints are £3, cocktails are £5, bottles of wine are £12 and prosecco bottles are £16. There’s also 10p chicken wings from 5pm-10pm. This means there’s a little sweet spot between 9-10pm with super cheap food AND drinks. To put that simply, you can get 2 pints of BJ’s House Pilsner and 40 Classic chings wing for just a single 10 pound note.

El Capo
Sunday Service
If you’re planning on a Sunday Sesh with your pals, you can’t go far wrong with El Capo in the NQ – especially if you’re feeling a little bit peckish. Not only do they have a fantastic Happy Hour between 4pm and 7pm (with £5 cocktails and bottles of Sol for £2.50) but they also offer a Sunday Service with a huge mound of food consisting of a huge Burrito, Nachos, Chicken Wings, 2 Tapas and 2 Sides for only £14 each.

Turtle Bay
2-4-1 Happy Hours
God love Turtle Bay and their ridiculous 2-4-1 cocktail deals. From opening til 7pm and then again at 10pm till late, you can enjoy two of your favourite cocktails for the small price of one; which also includes non-alcoholic bevs, for all you soon-to-be mommas or fitness freaks. I have genuinely lost count of how many messy nights have started in TB, but I wouldn’t go anywhere else for cheap and delicious cocktails now!

Dive Bar
Happy Hour
Running from 5pm every single day (except Saturday) so your Sunday Funday can last all week at Dive, with their seriously tempting Happy Hour. Consisting £3.50 drinks including beers, wines prosecco and selected cocktails. BONUS points to the new Zumu take over which currently has 25% OFF. Can’t really complain with that, can you?

Cane & Grain
Hangover Platter
Sometimes Sunday Funday can be ruined with too much fun on Saturday’s not to fear though because Cane and Grain have recently launched The Ultimate Hangover Tray. It’s basically a Sunday dinner on a tray except on steds. There’s half a chicken, a cup of mac and cheese, roasties, greens, and just for good measure a couple of strips of smoked beef brisket. The tray is served from 12pm because we all know we’re not up any earlier than that on a Sunday and will set you back a mere 15 quid.

Crazy Pedro’s
Happy Hour
Crazy Ped’s is the coolest joint in town, meaning they have a super cool Happy Hour to complement their already awesome reputation. Maybe you just popped in for a slice of their iconic pizza, or maybe you fancied a game of Beer Pong with the gang. Either way, why not make the most of the 2-4-1 cocktails, Cheap Plonk and £10 pizzas, between the hours of 5-9pm, Sunday-Friday? Sounds ped-ticularly tempting, if you ask me.

Liars Club
Happy Hour
If your civilised Sunday Funday turns seshy, there’s only one place to go. Obviously its Liars Club- where else would you go for cheap drinks and cheesy music? With 2 for £10 cocktails, 1/3 off sharing cocktails, £8 bottles of Wine and selected £2.50 beers on offer, you’ll just be lying to yourself if you say you don’t wanna go… Trust me, this offer is almost as good as my puns. I’m lying, nothing’s as good as my puns.

Revolucion de Cuba
2-4-1 Cocktails & Tapas
The problem with Happy Hour is they usually only last a couple of hours. However, that’s not the case at Revolucion de Cuba. They offer 2-4-1 cocktails and tapas, ALL DAY, EVERY SUNDAY. Seriously, this isn’t a joke guys – you could have a day of food, booze and banter with your mates for next-to-nothing, and you could do this every Sunday till your heart’s content. Personally, I recommend the Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris- they are to.die.for!

The Whiskey Jar
Happy Hour
I mean, is it even a Sunday Funday if you don’t go to The Whiskey Jar on Tariff Street? No, it bloody isn’t. Every day till 7pm, you can enjoy two selected cocktails for £10, two for £6 beers, and a £10 bottle of wine. That’s basically a full day of boozing for a fraction of the cost. Mint.

Hold Fast
Happy Hour
Board games and booze… Do Sunday’s get any better? Well, they do when there are cheap drinks on the table. Every Sunday, all day long, treat yourself to 2 bottles for £5 on Corona, 2 Orchard Pig or Hold Fast pints for £6, 2 House Spirits and mixer for £6, 2 Cocktails for £9 and a bottle of House Wine for just £12. Hold the front door- is this even real?!
