Don Giovanni & Frangelico partner up for Manchester Loves Cocktails

Italian stallions Don Giovanni have been feeding Manchester for over thirty years and in June they revitalised their cocktails with a brand new menu with a little help from their friends at the Branca distillery in Milan, jam-packed full of amaro-heavy signature serves and new, interesting twists on old classics.

Now the award-winning restaurant has teamed up with Campari and their eminent Italian liqueur Frangelico to take part in the second year of local festival Manchester Loves Cocktails, which runs this year from Sept 4th to 10th, to deliver mixologists and cocktail lovers alike a fine selection of original serves.

The Original Hazelnut liqueur, Frangelico is produced in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, and its origins date back more than 300 years to the presence of early Christian monks living in the hills of the area.

Choose from a Frangelico Espresso Martini (made using the king of all coffee liqueurs, caffe borghetti), a white port and Frangelico martini, a limoncello and Frangelico fizz or a dark chocolate and caramel old fashioned stir-down – all available from just £5 to wrist band holders in the bar or restaurant.

As well as running these beautiful cocktails all week, Don Giovanni are also running a bespoke dessert menu throughout the festival for you to pair with their drinks if you find yourself in the mood for a pick me up!

Newly appointed pastry chef Filipe Lobuzwkuchni has created three bespoke dishes, a Frangelico panna cotta served with caramel and nuts, a strawberry and apple tiramisu and Bourbon infused cupcakes with caramel cream, strawberries, blueberries and chocolate.

With the restaurant still running 50% off their a la carte menu until the end of September when you book online, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a slap up meal with fine cocktails and boozy desserts to boot!
