A huge World Cup fan park is heading to Depot Mayfield this summer.

Running from 11 June to 19 July 2026, We Are Football Festival will take over the Depot Mayfield site, with organisers saying the event will scale up across Freight Island’s Ticket Hall, the Depot and rooftop spaces in line with demand. The festival is expected to accommodate up to 15,000 fans.

Set a couple of minutes from Manchester Piccadilly, the venue will show matches across the tournament on what organisers describe as the UK’s biggest anti-glare screens, alongside a large sound system, DJs and live entertainment.

The site will also stay open for late kick-offs, so fans can watch the full run of games throughout the tournament.

As well as general admission, the event will offer VIP tables and family packages, with dedicated family and VIP areas planned on site. Organisers are also promising a Footy Fun Village with games, sponsor activations and activities aimed at younger fans.

Food and drink will come from a line-up of hand-picked traders and bars across the venue, continuing Freight Island’s usual mix of global street food and large-format hospitality inside the former railway depot.

Early bird tickets are on sale now from £4.50, with 5,000 available in the first release.
